Two Passaic County Non-Profits Among Dodge Foundation Grantees

Two Passaic County non-profit organizations were among the recipients of Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation grants.

City Green (Clifton, Passaic County): $60,000 for general operating support of urban greening, community gardening, and agriculture programs in northern New Jersey Program Area: Environment

Hamilton Partnership For Paterson (Paterson, Passaic County): $20,000 to create programming and educational materials for the National Park Service Centennial and Paterson Great Falls National Park visitor center. Program Area: Environment

The foundation awarded 57 grants totaling $3.3 million to support New Jersey nonprofits working throughout the state.

The awards, the first of three grantmaking cycles this year, "represent our mission to support the arts, environment, education, and informed communities in New Jersey," the foundation said.
